Wifey editing prequel.

Watched Extreme Makeover: Overweight edition (or whatever it was called) with a bowl of chocolate Oreo ice cream. Felt strange. Changed channel. :)

Waiting with bated breath for the paperback proofs to arrive tomorrow.

Planning to write like a beast today, although I'm sure many of you won't want to read "Teacher Perception of Mandatory Professional Development in Selected Tennessee Counties."  Because very honestly, I don't want to write it, but I DO however want to finish my Ed.S degree.

Injected, coming soon...

Hola, true believers!

Coming soon, possibly VERY soon, will be the Prequel to the Oathtaker Trials, titled Injected!

The prequel tells Martina's story from the very beginning, as a young soccer player and the tragic events that lead her to attempt taking her own life, and find her in her new home- the Dome...

As well as I can figure (which isn't very well, since I teach English and not math, sadly), we're looking at a mid-week release on the e-book formats.

In other news, Transfigured will arrive in proof format from the printers Wednesday, meaning it well may be available on Wednesday, depending on errors which need to be corrected, etc.

(Wednesday may very well be a major day!)

In other news, my beautiful wife and I enjoyed a fantastic cookout this evening with the Hasselbusch's, included a fourteen-pound steak, and my wife's decadent Key Lime cake!  Much love to Steve and Jodi for having us over this evening. :)

Hello, fellow believers!

It's been awhile since I've posted, being holed up in a cave as I've been. The internet signal from here is very weak, but I stepped outside to release this post to let the world know: Transfigured is nigh!

Like an infant babe ready to released to fly and spread its own wings (*note: DO NOT in any situation, attempt to allow your own human babies to fly, either by dropping them from high trees as birds do, or by throwing them from high cliffs, a la the Spartans.), Transfigured is nearly complete.

The premiere novel of indie-darling author/teacher Chris West (not yet, but believe, BELIEVE!) is nearing completion and while a bit off schedule from the mid-May publishing deadline, should indeed be prepared and ready for publishing by mid-to-end of May, along with Commenced, a prelude novelette, chronicling Martina's story from the beginning to her perilous steps into the Dome.

Be on the lookout for both, hopefully by the end of May!
