Once again, it is time for Terrible/Terrific Thursday!
Keeping it brief, Terrible: Anthony Weiner. 'Nuff said. As of the time of this posting, major news outlets are reporting that the Congressman has stepped down and resigned his congressional post. Seriously, if your name is 'Weiner,' well, you've gotta be on guard against silly stuff, like sending pictures to ladies on the Internet. Seriously? Really? Come on. This one is a joke. The terrible part is that we've had to endure two weeks' worth of news reports about Mr. Weiner (couldn't he have not taken a different name at some point in his life, enduring seventeen million jokes...?), and also, for Mrs. Weiner, who is expecting the couples' first child.
Really, dude. Terrible.
Terrific: My lovely, beautiful wife is interviewing this morning for a high school teaching position, so all of you fantastic readers out there, if you're praying types of people (as we are here at the Casa del Pino Blanco!), then send 'em up for Misty today!
Much love-- gotta keep it short...I have to get ready and travel to Sevierville for the Tennessee Association of Middle Schools' banquet because I'm apparently our schools' TAMS Ambassador, which I found out about a week ago, when a TAMS rep called and informed me of such. So, Ambassador West off to find out information about what TAMS has in store for us in the upcoming school year!
